Elementary School Spanish Teacher – Part Time

St. Mary School in Williamstown is seeking an Elementary Spanish Teacher for students in Grades K–8. The teacher will foster a love of language learning and cultural appreciation while supporting the mission and values of the Catholic school community. This is a part time position – Tuesday through Thursday. Salary $22.00 -$28.00 per hour.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons.
• Introduce students to Spanish vocabulary, grammar, conversation, reading, and writing appropriate to their grade level.
• Incorporate cultural studies to promote understanding of Spanish-speaking countries and their traditions.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly; maintain accurate records of student achievement.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration to integrate Spanish language and cultural connections across the curriculum when possible.
• Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and faculty meetings.
• Model Catholic values in all interactions and uphold the mission and philosophy of the school.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and faith-filled classroom environment that supports student growth academically, socially, and spiritually.

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish (oral and written).
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering a Catholic identity and promoting Gospel values in the school community.

This position operates within a faith-based school environment that emphasizes academic excellence, character development, and spiritual formation.
