KEIL Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Lead Installation Technician for a full time position. This position is only for the individual that is experienced in all aspects of residential heating and cooling equipment installations, including gas fired furnaces, boilers and water heaters, central, ductless and high velocity air conditioners, ductwork, generators and true customer service.

We are a residential company that installs ductless, central and high velocity air conditioning systems as well as gas and LP fired furnaces, water and steam boilers natural gas whole house generators.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead an assistant in installing gas furnaces, gas water and steam boilers, central air conditioning systems, air duct systems, water heaters, whole house gas generators, etc. in the manor set forth by KEIL.
  • Perform an initial start-up on gas furnaces, gas water and steam boilers and central air conditioners and water heaters, etc. in the manor set forth by KEIL.
  • You must be customer focused and always be prepared to deal directly with the homeowner on their terms and always with a positive attitude.
  • Provide your own hand tools (A complete list of tools is provided by KEIL). KEIL will provide all large tools.
  • You must be able to climb a ladder both inside and outside of the home without fear of heights.
  • You must be able to lift and move 100 pounds or more with frequency.
  • You must be able to clearly and concisely offer accessory items to our homeowner customers.
  • Have a current New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • You must have your own transportation to and from our office.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal history background check.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • A Team Player with the desire and drive to become a Lead Installation Technician within two years.

  • Ability to follow instructions and to provide instruction to others.
Education and Experience
  • HVAC Technical school graduate.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a lead installer in the residential field.
  • Continuing education certificates where necessary.
  • Refrigeration Certification – Universal.
  • Gastite Certification.
  • A variety of manufacturer’s equipment training certifications.
  • Customer communication skills.
