Job Description

As a CDL Class A Truck Driver with Penske, you will travel regionally to deliver parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. The role requires driving Penske‑maintained trucks, using scanners, and handling cargo with pallet jacks and hand trucks. Travel required up to 100%

• Travel regionally to work at various locations as needed.
• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanners to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment.
• Drivers will travel to the assigned location and work there for the duration of the assignment.

• Late model, Penske‑maintained trucks with best‑in‑class specs for comfort and safety.
• Trucks are equipped with inward and outward‑facing in‑cab cameras.
• Company‑provided uniforms and safety footwear.
• Vehicle maintenance and safety systems handled by Penske.

• Average $100,000 annually.

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicant must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3‑year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Must comply with background investigation, drug screening, and Penske employment application.
• Regulated by Department of Transportation or safety sensitive; must maintain constant alertness and safe behavior.

• Representative aspects of physical and mental demands required for job; reasonable accommodations available.
• Must be able to see and hear, with specific vision requirements (close, distance, peripheral, depth, focus). Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and access vehicle frequently.
• Must move, stand, walk, sit frequently; use hands for touch, handle; lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) commonly, up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
