Ascendo Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in Yardi Voyager and Payscan. This is an immediate full-time, onsite, temp-to-perm opportunity in New York, NY 10003.

Hours: Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm (35-hour work week)

Pay Rate: $35/hr - $40/hr

Responsibilities:

• Upload and allocate invoices via Payscan or manually in Yardi; process payments.
• Manage online utility payments and update control sheets.
• Maintain accurate vendor profiles, COIs, and W9s.
• Resolve payment and billing issues with vendors.
• Ensure timely payments and proper invoice documentation.
• Record debt service, property taxes, mortgage escrow, and reserve account activity.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP workflow; experience with Yardi and Payscan required.
• Proficient in MS Excel;
  Vendor Cafe experience preferred.
• Experience with tax credit residential properties is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
