About the RoleJOOPITER is seeking a Creative Director to define and lead our creative vision across all touchpoints, ensuring that every auction, marketplace offering, and content initiative is executed with cultural insight, aesthetic excellence, and storytelling depth.
This role will oversee JOOPITER’s brand identity, content, and creative direction, working across campaigns, merchandise capsule collections, digital experiences, and physical activations to elevate our presence as a leading force in luxury, resale, and cultural commerce. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands‑on creative leader, with expertise in digital storytelling, branding, and e‑commerce experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing Develop and Execute JOOPITER’s Creative Vision- Define and maintain JOOPITER’s creative identity, ensuring it remains distinctive, relevant, and aligned with the brand’s luxury and cultural positioning
- Develop campaigns and content strategies that elevate JOOPITER’s auctions, marketplace offerings, and merchandise collaborations
- Establish creative consistency across digital, social, video, experiential, and product design
- Guide the visual direction and storytelling of JOOPITER’s Capsule collections, ensuring alignment with the brand narrative across each release
- Craft narratives that blend storytelling, provenance, and commerce, shaping how collectors experience and engage with JOOPITER
- Lead the creation of multi‑platform campaigns that bring JOOPITER’s auctions and marketplace drops to life
- Oversee video, photography, and motion design while serving as on‑set creative lead for productions—ensuring all visual assets enhance storytelling and brand impact.
- Develop content strategies that translate cultural moments and collector insights into engaging, shareable content
- Inspire internal and external teams ensuring they push creative boundaries while staying on‑brand
- Manages Designer and external freelance talent
- Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product and Business Development to align creative with broader business objectives
- Present creative concepts to senior leadership, external partners, and collaborators, ensuring buy‑in and strategic alignment
- Partner with production and freelance talent to execute high‑quality creative work
- Stay ahead of cultural trends, digital innovation, and emerging creative technologies to keep JOOPITER at the forefront of luxury and collectible ecommerce
- Identify opportunities to collaborate with artists, designers, and cultural figures, integrating their creative influence into JOOPITER’s ecosystem
- Develop physical and digital activations that enhance the JOOPITER brand experience and engage our collector community
- BFA or MFA in graphic design and 10+ years of experience in creative direction, branding, or digital design, ideally within luxury, fashion, or cultural commerce
- Deep understanding of e‑commerce, digital marketing and content creation as they apply to a curated, luxury marketplace
- A strong portfolio showcasing work across brand identity, digital campaigns, and experiential storytelling
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma and other industry‑standard design tools
- Ability to craft compelling narratives that bridge provenance, culture, and commerce
- Experience with UX, interaction design and motion design
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire creative teams and manage external collaborators
- A natural curiosity and self‑learning approach to stay ahead of the latest design and cultural trends and strategies, applying new resources and techniques as needed
- A data‑informed creative mindset, understanding how insights and performance metrics influence creative strategy
- Experience working with high‑profile personalities, collaborations, and culturally relevant brands is a plus
- Experience with Monday project management platform is a plus
