MKC Threads is a growing custom print and embroidery shop specializing in high quality apparel and branded merchandise. We work with schools, small businesses, organizations, and brands to bring their ideas to life and customer experience is everything to us.

We’re looking for an Account Support Specialist to be the primary point of contact for our customers and to help manage orders from inquiry through production approval.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clearly communicate timelines, updates, and approvals to clients and internal teams
  • Ensure client approvals and order readiness by following up on any missing details or changes
  • Answer client questions about decoration options, sizing, and placement
  • Gather and organize order details and artwork files (quantities, sizes, colors, timelines, artwork)
  • Respond to customer emails and inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner
  • Create and send quotes for print, embroidery, promotional items, and tradeshow orders based on clients needs, quantities, and decoration methods
  • Prepare and send digital mockups/proofs for customer approval (logos, placements, sizing)
  • Update order statues and notes in our systems
  • Handle basic customer issue resolution and elevate when needed
  • Confirm payment status prior to production
  • Assist with shipping coordination and delivery confirmations
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (email heavy role)
  • Excellent attention to detail. Accuracy is critical in custom orders
  • Prior experience in customer service, administrative roles, or order processing preferred
  • Client focused with a problem solving mindset
  • Collaboration with multiple departments
  • Able to manage multiple orders independently while staying aligned with the team
Preferred (but not required)
  • Experience in a print shop, embroidery shop, or custom apparel business
  • Familiarity with tools like Printavo, Shopify, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar systems

Compensation

$20–$25/hour, depending on experience.
