We are seeking an integral member of the Building Systems Engineering team. The Senior Mechanical Engineer/Team Leader will be responsible for planning, scheduling, developing, coordinating, directing, and managing large and small design projects for a variety of public and private clients.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer/Team Leader will prepare related reports and studies for projects; be responsible for developing and evaluating plans and criteria for projects; plan and coordinate with in‑house engineers, architects, designers, surveyors and sub‑consultants.
Engineer will be expected to contribute to marketing of the firm and development of new business by initiating and maintaining contacts with current clients and key individuals of other organizations and companies.
Qualifications:
10+ years working as a mechanical engineer with demonstrated career growth that includes 3+ years project management.
NYS Professional Engineering license preferred.
Proficient technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience of managing project teams.
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or similar degree.
