Private Wealth Management Relationship Manager

Position Summary

Private Wealth Management Relationship Manager – Capital Partners, New York. This role serves as the primary client contact and portfolio manager for ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients, handling portfolio execution, client service and compliance.

• Serve as point person for ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients, managing moderately to highly complex accounts independently or with senior RMs.
• Ensure continued client satisfaction and retention; manage referral relationships.
• Act as first call for portfolio‑related questions (investment strategy, asset allocation, performance).
• Prepare for account review, opening/closing/maintenance, and creation of client meeting materials.
• Exercise professional investment judgment, ensuring compliance with Investment Policy Statements, KYC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain daily client contact, oversee compliance reports, and respond to risk issues.
• Oversee all account maintenance activities, including documentation, meeting materials and performance evaluations.
• Mentor and coach Relationship Associates (RAs) and Senior RAs.

• BA/BS required.
• 9+years portfolio management experience involving equities, bonds, or both.
• Excellent client service skills; superior oral/written communication, analytical and thought‑leadership skills.
• Knowledge of asset allocation, trust and fiduciary principles, especially related to estate planning.
• Strong team player with a strong work ethic.
• CFA, CFP, and/or MBA a plus.

Base salary $140,000–$190,000 plus annual bonus. BBH’s compensation program includes discretionary bonuses and profit‑sharing.
