This full-time, in-office role involves originating, structuring, and executing debt and equity transactions across infrastructure and military housing sectors.

The Originator will independently cultivate and maintain relationships with capital sources, counter parties, and sponsors to source new transactions and secondary market opportunities. Key responsibilities include underwriting new debt originations — first lien loans, mezzanine loans, B-notes, and preferred equity — as well as acquisition of legacy loans, structured solutions including synthetic risk transfers, platform investments, restructurings, and recapitalizations.

Day-to-day, the role requires developing written investment analyses, financial models, documentation, and presentation materials in support of investment opportunities. The successful candidate will collaborate with Portfolio Managers throughout the lifecycle of originated products, and will identify and execute transaction exits including sales, refinancings, restructurings, and liquidations.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of related experience in real estate investment management, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the field. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is required; CFA designation (or progress toward it) is preferred. Strong negotiation, project management, and strategic relationship management skills are essential, along with the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and drive growth-oriented projects.
