Technical Project Manager

We are supporting a rapidly scaling hardware enabled technology company in their search for a Technical Project Manager to lead complex product initiatives from concept through large scale deployment.

This is a highly technical, hands on role suited to someone who understands embedded systems and thrives in cross functional environments spanning firmware, hardware, software, operations, and customer teams. You will own delivery end to end while staying close enough to the technology to unblock issues when needed.

What You Will Do

• Own hardware enabled product initiatives from early discovery and demonstrations through launch and scaled deployment
• Partner closely with senior product and engineering leadership to align priorities and execution
• Create clear technical specifications to guide firmware, hardware, software, and manufacturing teams
• Plan and drive sprints and timelines, balancing scope, risk, and impact
• Step into device level troubleshooting when necessary to unblock engineering teams
• Engage directly with customers, including onsite visits, to understand real world constraints
• Define launch criteria and success metrics based on reliability, performance, and usage data
• Communicate priorities, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly across stakeholders
• Implement structured processes to ensure customer feedback feeds directly into ongoing product development

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in technical project management within IoT, automation, or connected devices
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of hardware, firmware, and embedded communications
• Proven experience owning projects end to end across planning, execution, and delivery
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and OKR based delivery frameworks
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams delivering complex technical work
• Willingness to go onsite for installations, customer research, or issue resolution
• Strong ownership mindset with urgency and bias toward action

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying products at scale across thousands of devices
• Exposure to regulated environments such as medical, industrial, or safety critical systems
• Familiarity with IoT platforms and communication protocols such as LoRa or Chirp stack
• Basic analytics capability including SQL queries and Python scripting
