I. Core Responsibilities (1) Strategy & System Establishment (Overall Lead)
- Develop the overall local product supply chain + QA strategy, organizational roles, process standards, and performance metrics aligned with Luckin Coffee US business objectives, enabling integrated management of procurement, inventory, warehousing & distribution, product, equipment, quality, and system development.
- Build the US local raw material sourcing and procurement system from 0 to 1, including supplier development, qualification, evaluation, elimination, price management, contract compliance, cost database, and cost-reduction mechanisms.
- Establish a QA and food safety system adapted to the US market, covering FSVP, import compliance, supplier audits, raw material receiving, in-stock quality control, and in-store quality closed-loop management to ensure compliance with FDA and local regulations.
- Lead supply chain digitalization and system iteration; drive data-driven management of inventory, orders, fulfillment, and quality; generate reports and continuously optimize KPIs.
- Leverage deep local supplier resources in the US to conduct local sourcing, sampling, quotation, pricing, and approval for coffee ingredients, dairy products, packaging materials, marketing materials, equipment, and tools.
- Lead procurement negotiations and cost control; own end-to-end supply chain costs including per-cup cost, procurement cost, and logistics cost to balance stable supply and optimal cost.
- Manage the full supplier lifecycle: qualification review, performance evaluation, reconciliation & settlement, and risk control to ensure reliable and compliant delivery.
- Coordinate import and local procurement; review container booking, customs clearance, tariffs, and resolve clearance exceptions to ensure smooth cross-border supply.
- Procurement Execution
:
Order tracking, warehousing coordination, after-sales support, supplier & material master setup, and price process implementation. - Inventory Management
:
Overall inventory strategy, replenishment planning, inventory level control, turnover optimization, loss/waste control, and in-stock rate assurance. - Warehousing & Distribution
: 3PL/vendor management, cost monitoring, cost-down & efficiency projects, reconciliation & settlement, store order fulfillment, and perfect delivery rate achievement. - Product & Equipment
:
Collaborate with product planning/R&D to support new product launches; oversee equipment procurement, acceptance, maintenance, and standard implementation. - Quality & QA
:
Quality system operation, document control, audits & inspections, issue resolution, customer complaint closure, and certification readiness to ensure stable quality across the chain.
Fully own core US business KPIs: per-cup cost, inventory turnover, in-stock rate, perfect warehousing & fulfillment rate, loss & scrap rate, and quality compliance rate; ensure stable supply, controllable costs, and consistent quality.
(4) Business & KPI Achievement (5) Cross-Functional & Project Management- Collaborate with central procurement & sales, product R&D, operations, and stores to support supply chain delivery for new products, marketing campaigns, and store expansion.
- Lead key projects including cost reduction, efficiency improvement, quality control, and digitalization; deliver on schedule and achieve targets.
- Lead team talent development and succession planning; provide regular training, guidance, and supervision to enhance team professionalism and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or above;
Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Procurement, or related majors preferred. - 8–10+ years of supply chain management experience;
must have a procurement background with proven experience building procurement and supply chain systems from 0 to 1. - Extensive working experience in the US with strong, established local supplier networks for food/coffee/tea/beverage/F&B ingredients, packaging, and equipment; ability to rapidly launch sourcing and procurement capabilities.
- English as a working language; familiar with US food regulations, FSVP, import/export customs clearance, tariffs, and trade compliance requirements.
- End-to-end execution capability: proficient in sourcing & procurement, inventory planning, warehousing & logistics, quality management, and equipment management; strong end-to-end coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Quality & compliance capability: knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and other food safety systems; experience in supplier audits, quality issue resolution, and system establishment.
- Cost & negotiation capability: skilled in procurement cost-reduction methodologies; strong business negotiation, cost analysis, and budget control abilities.
- Team & project management: ability to lead a cross-functional team of 9–10 people; skilled in target decomposition, cross-departmental collaboration, project delivery, and risk control.
