Plant Shift Supervisor (Open)

As a Plant Shift Supervisor, you will support and coordinate plant operators engaged in producing and repackaging compressed and liquid gases into cylinders.

• Support and maintain plant operations safely, organized, and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with company safety bulletins.
• Operate equipment used in repackaging and analyzing compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders according to SOPs.
• Maintain essential reports, paperwork, and training records for the production facility.
• Guide employees to meet customer needs, follow SOPs, and maintain a collaborative workspace.
• Inspect and maintain filling equipment and related monitoring devices.
• Administer performance standards and align team actions with company policy.
• Load and unload cylinders on/off delivery vehicles and record type and quantity of cylinders.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or technical degree/certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Prior technical experience with compressed gases, gas analysis, and gas lab equipment preferred.
• Prior experience utilizing SAP preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong analytical skills to leverage metrics and tools for improving production efficiency and effectiveness.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
