Senior Director, Global Creative – Shark Beauty

Responsible for defining and leading the global creative vision for the Shark Beauty portfolio, translating cutting‑edge beauty technology into culturally relevant, emotionally resonant, and performance‑driven storytelling across all consumer touchpoints. The role ensures Shark Beauty’s creative expression is distinctive, premium, and consistent globally—while driving commercial impact in a highly competitive beauty landscape.

As a senior creative leader, the role oversees multidisciplinary global creative teams and agency partners, working in close partnership with Brand, Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, Media, and Commercial teams. The Senior Director will deliver breakthrough creative that fuels growth, builds brand desirability, and reinforces Shark Beauty’s position as a leader in high‑performance beauty innovation. The ideal candidate blends bold creative ambition with operational excellence and thrives in a fast‑paced, innovation‑led environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve the global creative vision for Shark Beauty, ensuring bold, elevated, and consumer‑relevant brand expression across regions and categories
  • Lead end‑to‑end creative strategy for global product launches, integrated campaigns, and in‑market optimization across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Build, lead, and develop high‑performing global creative teams spanning art direction, design, copy, production, and creative operations
  • Partner closely with Brand, Product Development, Engineering, Consumer Insights, Media, and Sales to translate technical performance, styling benefits, and innovation into compelling beauty‑forward narratives
  • Own creative excellence across packaging, advertising, digital commerce, retail, PR, video, experiential, social, influencer, and long‑form brand storytelling
  • Establish creative standards, frameworks, and workflows that enable speed, quality, and scalability across global markets
  • Lead and manage agency and production partners, ensuring creative output aligns with Shark Beauty’s premium positioning and business objectives
  • Champion a consumer‑ and culture‑first mindset, leveraging insights, testing, trends, and performance data to continuously improve creative effectiveness
  • Present creative strategy, work, and results to executive leadership, influencing brand direction, investment, and long‑term growth decisions
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands‑on creative engagement to unlock big ideas, elevate craft, and solve complex brand and business challenges
Qualifications Must‑Haves
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership, brand, or integrated marketing roles
  • Proven experience leading global, multi‑disciplinary creative organizations
  • Strong background in beauty, consumer lifestyle, consumer technology, or performance‑driven brands
  • Demonstrated success delivering global product launch creative and commercialization
  • Ability to translate technical performance and innovation into emotionally compelling, beauty‑led consumer stories
  • Executive presence with strong cross‑functional influence and storytelling capability
  • Track record of building, mentoring, and retaining top creative talent
Nice‑to‑Haves
  • Experience operating within in‑house creative teams while managing best‑in‑class agency ecosystems
  • Exposure to DTC, eCommerce, social‑first, influencer, and retail‑led creative models
