The Industrial Product Application Quotation Specialist will be responsible for handling incoming technical questions and requests from customers by providing quotations and proposal drawings to customers. This role also provides technical support and engineering product information to Customer Service and Sales.

Key Accountabilities:

* Address and respond to sales opportunities by providing quotations, technical information support, and proposal drawings to customers.
* Assist Channel Partners and End users to select the correct product for their application.
* Communicate and partner daily with internal and external customers via phone and email, to ask clarification questions, provide updates on the status of requests, and ultimately meet customer needs with product solutions.
* Provide technical support and engineering product information to Sales and Customer Service.
* Contribute to daily department workflow management and customer responsiveness, through properly logging quotes and managing and prioritizing daily backlog.
* Project manage large opportunities to ensure accurate and timely delivery by collaborating with planning, sales, end users, channel partners, customer service, engineering and production.
* Follow up on completed quotes as required, to assist sales in driving revenue and increasing hit rates
* Determine and set pricing for specialized products based on corporate guidelines
* Assist with any/all customer service functions when required
* Performs other related duties as assigned

Competencies:

* Reasoning abilities and analytical thinking
* Self-Starter, ability to function independently without close management.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
* Knowledge of material handling products and their applications.
* Proficient in computer related skills such as Microsoft Office

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (4 year) desired, and/or significant experience in Customer Service, quotation processing, and use of PC programs such as Excel and Word are required.
