Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Shift: Day

As a Trainer, you will be involved in curriculum development and training delivery of security topics in support of Inter-Con operations and contracts. You will present instructional content, conduct practical exercises, and may perform research and provide recommendations regarding security program policies. You will ensure compliance with internal and external mandates and maintain training records. You will assist in developing training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials as necessary.

• Provide training program development and delivery using a standard classroom instruction format aligned with an Instructional System (IS) framework.
• Apply a systemic approach to training, gathering and analyzing performance requirements and responding to identified training needs.
• Develop training materials such as programs, PowerPoint presentations, syllabi, and testing materials.
• Utilize various training delivery methods and types (on-the-job training, web-based, technical, professional, team, safety, etc.).
• Hold required certifications: CPR, AED, and Adult First Aid (certifications from Red Cross, ASHA, etc. accepted).
• Experience in de-escalation, defensive tactics, arrest and control techniques, and hospital security is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in training, education, instruction, professional development, or related security/military/police training environment; or equivalent.
• Present a professional image, provide outstanding customer service, and speak effectively to groups; capable of preparing and delivering effective presentations.
• Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines with quality results, and maintain strong organizational and communication skills.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing requirements.
• Physical activities may include running, defensive tactics movements, and firearms instruction.

• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities for record-keeping.
• Fluent in reading, speaking, understanding, and writing English.
• General computer proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Flexible duty hours, with potential travel to conduct training on a rotational basis.
• Willingness to work in various environments, including indoor/outdoor shooting ranges and outdoor training facilities.
• Physically fit and able to lift 35 pounds.
• Must meet requirements set forth by the Lautenberg Amendment.
