Equipment Maintenance Technician

This role will report to Equipment Maintenance Supervisor and is based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on‑site, in office role.

• Troubleshoot and repair analog and electronically controlled equipment in SOFC Manufacturing
• Perform machine installations or modification per instructions
• Execute and track preventive maintenance activities
• Evaluate equipment and inform supervisor of issues or needed repairs
• Suggest improvements for tool set
• Help implement upgrades to machines
• Assist with manufacturing when required
• Support equipment testing and engineering group
• Ensure proper Lock‑Out‑Tag‑Out (LOTO) compliance

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Technical certification or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with Automated Equipment, PLC controls, Mechanical training preferred
• Reliable, shows initiative, responsible follow through and a willingness to help
• Strong troubleshooting skills required
• Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Must have computer skills, minimum Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools, previous experience with PC‑based testing equipment is preferred
• Complete tasks within standard times with minimum supervision
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Must be able to work in a fast‑pace manufacturing environment
• Must be flexible with changing shift or work schedule

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed
• Must have excellent hand‑eye coordination
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Salary Ranges: $24.05 - $34.61
