Civil Engineer – Land Development (New Jersey / Greater Philadelphia)

I’m working with several established civil engineering firms across New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia that are actively hiring due to a sustained backlog in land development work.

These teams are focused on site design projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, and are looking to add engineers at the Project Engineer through the Project Manager level.

• Site design, grading, and stormwater management
• Layouts and plan production using Civil 3D
• Permitting and coordination with NJ/PA municipalities
• Direct exposure to clients, reviewers, and project stakeholders

• 3–10+ years in land development / site design
• Civil 3D proficiency
• EIT or PE (or tracking toward it)

• Consistent project pipelines (not one-off hires)
• Teams ranging from mid-sized consultancies to well-established regional firms
• Opportunities for both technical growth and PM track roles
• Flexibility depending on your experience and interests
