We are seeking a Senior Azure SQL Developer to serve as the primary owner of our cloud database ecosystem. This hybrid role requires an expert who blends deep database development skills (complex stored procedures, data modeling, ETL) with robust production DBA responsibilities (performance tuning, high availability, security). In this role, you will lead the design of scalable data solutions, manage Azure cloud data integration, mentor team members, and ensure the reliability of our data infrastructure within an agile framework.

• Design and implement robust, scalable data models and schemas to support application and business requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL stored procedures to support application development and data processing.
• Monitor database performance proactively, develop indexing strategies, and perform advanced tuning on complex queries to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Oversee database management and sharding concepts to support growing data volumes and high-performance requirements.
• Manage and maintain Azure SQL databases, ensuring high availability, business continuity, and security compliance.
• Develop and manage Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for seamless data movement, transformation, and ingestion from diverse sources.
• Integrate with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) to support data analytics, reporting, and external system integrations.
• Utilize SQL dacpac projects for version control and manage deployment pipelines using Azure Dev Ops. Coordinate and support production releases.
• Governance: Establish and enforce database governance policies, including naming conventions, security access controls, and technical documentation.

• 10+ years of experience as a Senior SQL Developer with deep expertise in writing complex stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Proficiency using SQL dacpac projects for database deployment and managing pipelines within Azure Dev Ops.
• Familiarity with database sharding and cloud data lake integration strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent communication for technical mentorship, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in an agile setting.
