Director of Quality Assurance

Hartmann Young is partnered with a leading nutraceutical manufacturer recognised for its high‑quality standards, retailer partnerships and science‑backed product portfolio.

As part of continued growth and operational investment, the company is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to lead quality systems and compliance across the manufacturing operation.

This role will oversee all aspects of Quality and FSQA while ensuring compliance with FDA, cGMP, NSF and customer audit requirements.

The business is looking for a hands‑on quality leader capable of driving continuous improvement while supporting operational scale.

• Lead site‑wide Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs
• Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, NSF and retailer standards
• Manage internal and external audits
• Oversee CAPA, deviation investigations and quality systems
• Partner cross‑functionally with manufacturing, supply chain and R&D
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality performance
• Mentor and develop the quality team

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related discipline
• 8+ years within dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, food or pharma manufacturing
• Strong understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing audits from FDA, NSF and major customers
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
