Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of existing Data Analytics curricula and lead curriculum redevelopment to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee online Data Analytics bachelor’s degree programs and related courses.
- Mentor, evaluate, and coach adjunct faculty; recruit and train new faculty; maintain GFD online adjunct training.
- Manage Canvas faculty course sites: approve syllabi and course sites, oversee assessment tools.
- Attend regular GFD team meetings; work closely with other Program Directors, Associate Dean, Program Coordinator, Registrar, Admissions, and Enrollment staff to support program excellence.
- Teach an online course load of 6‑9 credits over an 11‑month academic year.
- Demonstrate Christian leadership and serve as a role model to students through actions, words, and lifestyle.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with employees, students, and the public in a spirit of teamwork, respect, and customer service.
- Demonstrate experience working cross‑culturally with respect, appreciation, and humility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree.
- Relevant professional experience in Data Analytics that informs future‑thinking curriculum design, program oversight, and faculty mentoring, with alignment to industry standards.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a sustained commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of best practices in online teaching and learning; ability to teach and model these methods for affiliated faculty, particularly during onboarding.
- Ability to manage a large group of remote faculty, providing timely professional development and ensuring consistent instructional quality for diverse student populations.
- Conceptual understanding of andragogy to craft curriculum for adult learners.
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to function effectively as part of a highly collaborative team.
