- Administer and monitor medications, including patient education on use and side effects
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Respond to urgent or crisis situations within the residential setting
- Communicate with prescribers regarding orders, refills, and clinical updates
- Collaborate with treatment teams, patients, and families
- Support admissions, transfers, and continuity of care
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Uphold patient confidentiality and professional nursing standards
- Safety, structure, and consistency
- Team collaboration and mutual respect
- Patient-centered, trauma-informed care
- Training and required in-services are provided
- Day and Night 12‑hr shifts
- Full‑time and part‑time positions available
- $34–$40 per hour, based on experience

Qualifications Required- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas
- Ability to maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions, including in urgent or emergent situations
- Proficiency with basic computer and documentation systems
- Ability to pass required state background checks (KBI, Central Registry, and DCF)
- BSN preferred but not required
- Two years of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
- CPI certification
- Full‑time availability
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and safely assist with patient restraints when necessary
- Ability to observe patient behavior and respond in a calm, non-judgmental, and therapeutic manner
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet patient and program needs
