Senior Process Engineer Lithography

Job Description  Support the Equipment and Process Engineering (EPE) organization by maintaining, initiating and implementing technical improvements and to support the Manufacturing organization. Report to the Engineering section manager of LITHOGRAPHY and support Manufacturing and Process Sustaining and Enhancement (PSE). As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for process performance with a special focus on highly complex problems, actively developing and introducing process improvements that enhance product quality, throughput, scrap reduction, cost savings and reduce repeating problems/excursions.
Key Areas of Responsibility   Maintain and provide up-to-date procedures and processes that meet NXP’s safety and quality requirements and comply with applicable standards; ensure validation of these procedures on the shop floor.
Pro‑actively connect with Manufacturing and transfer improvement ideas concerning structural technical problems, material quality issues and bottlenecks into improvement actions, involving other sections and departments and driving these actions to successful implementation.
Contribute to improvement projects using technical knowledge and experience.
Define required quantity, secure availability of production tools, initiate upgrades, support maintenance actions and resolve safety issues.
Coordinate quality‑related escalations to customers and support Manufacturing in securing production progress.
Education  MSc level in Physics, Chemistry or other relevant technical area is preferred. HBO Bachelor is mandatory.
Experience   Preferably experience in a high‑tech/semiconductor environment.
Preferably experience with lithography‑based processing.
Knowledge of complex production processes.
Languages   Dutch mandatory.
English.
Preferred Skills   Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, Statistical Process Control, FMEA and Quality Management Systems.

Self‑assured, able to engage and convince people, even at higher management levels.
