TITLE: Administrative / Accounting Clerk DATE: 08/09/18
REPORTS TO: Finance & Administration Manager DEPT: Accounting
LOCATION: Paperboard Specialties – Norcross, Ga.
PURPOSE: Internal support for Finance Manager and business Management through performing clerical needs of accounting department and Ariba buying for the office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Daily invoicing of customers for completed shipments. Reconciliation of invoicing versus shipments. Generation of invoice and completed sales order packet for filing. Process credit card payments through Pay Trace. Review of customer payments on a daily basis. Coordinate with Customer Service and Corporate Cash Application group to resolve accounts receivable deductions or short pays. Collect on accounts receivable past due invoices. Complete and file freight claims with carriers. Accounts payable vouchering including associated documentation flow. Ariba buying of office supplies.
Position requires the ability to articulate and to communicate effectively through both verbal and written means. Person must be able to use computer and e-mail. Proficient with Word and Excel.
High school graduate and working towards accounting degree preferred.
