Farnsworth Group is seeking a technically focused Sr. Engineering Manager in the following locations:
Belleville, Champaign, Effingham, Lisle, Normal, Peoria, Pontiac, Springfield, Tinley Park, IL;
Nashville, TN;
St. Louis, MO; or Remote. The role provides engineering, staff support, and QC/QA for transportation roadway and street projects across local, statewide, and national clients supporting multiple planning and design projects.
- Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for projects related to transportation planning and design
- Develop and mentor staff
- Collaborate with other disciplines
- Develop and maintain client relations
- Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
- Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program
- 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience
- Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects
- Proven leadership skills with engineering staff
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projects
- Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
- Working experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of Micro Station, CONNECT, and ORD

Salary Range: $125,000 - $165,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity).
