Description
We are seeking a Security Representative with strong skills in DD254s, the SODA tool, and government contracting, subcontracting, and Internal Research & Development. The position will be a member of the RMS centralized Security Classification Management team, with experience in program security collateral requirements, security assessments, and NISPOM (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual) compliance. The candidate will have a background in auditing the requirements of 32 CFR 117 and support the RMS Security Assessments, Integration, and Compliance element within RMS.
They will handle DD254s across all cleared CAGE Codes, develop, administer and audit security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export‑controlled data, and execute programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. The role includes individual and team support for all contractual security requirements for DOD collateral classified programs, working with U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and security rulings or deviations, developing and conducting security education classes, applying business‑minded and risk‑managed solutions to security issues, communicating observations and recommendations to leadership, conducting detailed analysis and reports on Business Area security activities and trends, advising on security policy changes, leading or participating as a security representative in security and other functional projects, and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- In‑depth experience with 32 CFR 117 NISPOM, government contracting processes, and subcontracting.
- Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant FSO for a possessing facility with certification within five years (desirable).
- In‑depth working knowledge of the Subcontract Online DD254 Application (SODA).
- Strong collateral security assessment skills (peer review, self review, management review).
- Significant experience with DCSA security reviews, COMSEC audits, and physical security audits.
- Familiarity with classified cyber, COMSEC, NATO, OPSEC, collateral and subcontracting requirements.
- Strong knowledge and use of security tools (SIMS, SMART, DART, NISS, DISS, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin security policies and procedures.
- Effective presentation and written and oral communication skills with all levels of internal and external customers and government personnel.
- Ability to collaborate, partner, read, understand, follow and manage established processes.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and on‑site (minimum two days per week).
- Some travel required to support security assessments.
- Experience managing complex projects, problem solving, and metrics analysis.
- In‑depth knowledge and use of the Security Information Management System (SIMS) tool.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum one year of data analysis or operations experience.
- Problem solving skills and root‑cause analysis.
- Research and audit data summarization with trend identification.
- Eligibility for a top‑level security personnel clearance.
- LM21 Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt training.
- Working knowledge of the DAAPM/DAAG in support of classified information systems (beneficial).
This position requires a government security clearance; the candidate must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

- Work Schedule: 4 × 10‑hour days, 3 days off per week.
- Compensation: The annual base salary range varies by state. For California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC, the range is $69,900 – $123,280. In major metropolitan areas of these states, the range is $80,400 – $139,380. Salary reflects scope, responsibilities, experience, education, key skills, and market considerations.
