Plant Controller

Join our team as a Plant Controller and play a key role in driving financial performance and operational excellence across our manufacturing facility. This position blends hands‑on cost accounting, strategic planning, and cross‑functional collaboration to support business unit goals.

• Maintain and optimize the plant’s cost accounting system and controls
• Analyze sales, cost of sales, labor, product costing, and inventory variances
• Lead weekly financial forecasting and monthly reconciliations
• Coordinate physical inventories and analyze results across departments and global vendors
• Prepare journal entries and manage standard costing, labor rates, and overhead allocations
• Conduct variance analysis and partner with teams to resolve cost discrepancies
• Lead annual operating and capital budget preparation
• Manage a Staff Accountant, providing guidance, support and development opportunities
• Interface daily with manufacturing and planning teams to improve inventory control
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley procedures and support quarterly testing
• Deliver accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end financial reporting

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 5–7 years of accounting experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in interpreting operational documents and applying statistical analysis
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus
