What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for patients, visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with location policies and/or applicable post instructions.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local staff, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card and/or license is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A pepper spray certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
