Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day  Time      Fri  05:45 AM - 06:00 PM    Sun  05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or public agency contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report unusual behavior, security-related concerns, and/or prohibited items in accordance with post orders.
Support access control, incident response, and other security-related duties in a professional manner while following all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card or license is required.
At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
