We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer to support and maintain secure, reliable IT operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role combines hands‑on systems and network administration, cybersecurity support, end‑user troubleshooting, and compliance readiness activities aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a highly collaborative environment, can work independently with minimal supervision, and is committed to maintaining secure and efficient technology operations across the organization. This position requires eligibility to obtain Secret Clearance.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS)
- Experience performing a combination of:
- Network support
- Systems administration
- Cloud administration
- Helpdesk/end‑user support
- Eligibility to obtain Secret Clearance is required
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across hardware, software, networking, and user support environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to maintain accurate tickets, technical documentation, and compliance records
- Ability to work on site 5 days per week
- Ability to follow company safety procedures and workplace policies
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance, punctuality, and work ethic
Certifications:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator or equivalent
- Similar infrastructure or cybersecurity certifications
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 security controls
- Familiarity with CMMC compliance expectations and readiness activities
- Understanding of identity and access management concepts
- Understanding of secure network configuration and least‑privilege principles
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for end users, including documenting troubleshooting activities and escalating issues when necessary
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities including user provisioning, group assignments, and secure access management
- Assist with secure configuration and administration of network and cloud infrastructure
- Coordinate software and hardware updates for operational systems
- Troubleshoot issues involving hardware, software, cabling, connectivity, and telecommunications systems
- Assist with maintaining technical evidence and documentation for compliance readiness activities, including screenshots and assessment support
- Support implementation and maintenance of security controls aligned with internal policies and cybersecurity frameworks
- Participate in IT standardization initiatives, documentation improvements, and security hardening projects
- Work closely with management and operational teams to support evolving business and security requirements
- Maintain organized records, accurate tickets, and compliance‑related documentation
- Identify infrastructure risks, operational discrepancies, and security concerns proactively
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with PPE and safety requirements when necessary
Skills:
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, shipbuilding, or operational environments
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration
- Familiarity with endpoint management and patch management solutions
- Experience supporting secure remote access technologies
- Exposure to vulnerability management or security monitoring tools
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Self‑starter mentality with a willingness to learn new technologies and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting users across multiple departments and technical skill levels
