About the role

Title – Vetting Co-ordinator

Pay Rate – £15 per hour

Location – Northampton

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Vetting Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Vetting Team
  • Accurately input and maintain data in line with internal processes
  • Coordinate reference checks and manage communication with referees and applicants
  • Interpret and follow vetting procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Draft professional correspondence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaise with other departments and external partners as required
  • Ensure all documentation and data handling complies with confidentiality and data protection regulations
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Well‑organised, self‑motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional, reliable, and demonstrates integrity and sound judgement
Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Previous experience in a vetting or background screening role
  • Knowledge of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) processes
