Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi:billion:pound global manufacturer, at their flagship UK site.

They are looking for an experienced Shift Engineer, that is mechanically biased, working a shift rota that gives you 90 days off a year plus off days in between shifts.

• Maintain all production, processing and packaging machinery
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
• Complete PPM and TPM schedules
• Dealing with motors, conveyors, PLCs, gearboxes, drives, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics
• Project work: new machine installs and continuous improvements
• Ordering spares, parts and maintaining site CMMS

• Looking for a multi-skilled engineer, with a mechanical bias
• Must have experience of working on industrial production, processing and packaging machinery
• At least 5 years experience outside of apprenticeship
• Ideally have completed a formal apprenticeship scheme
• NVQ or City & Guilds qualified to level 3 or higher
• Must be happy working a rotating shift pattern, with holidays built into a yearly rota
• Computer literate: able to use SAP systems / CMMS
• Experience of working on hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, control panels, gearboxes
• Beneficial if able to do welding, fabrication and fitting work
• Passionate about reliability engineering, continuous improvements, asset care management
