Job Title: Professor (Part-Time) – Motive Power Fundamentals

Department: School of Trades and Technology – Adult Dual Credit Program

Location: Commerce Court Campus – North Bay, ON

Contract Duration: March 23, 2026 – May 1, 2026

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday evenings – In Person Delivery

• Automotive Service 310S and/or Truck and Coach 310T
• Additional Certificates of Qualifications including Motorcycle 310G, Small Engine 435A or Marine Engine 435B Technician
• Multiple licenses in related trades are an asset
• A minimum of three (3) years of recent industry experience in all aspects of the Motive Power Trade
• Demonstrated teaching and mentoring ability and knowledge of student success strategies
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of educational technologies
• Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting is an asset
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills
• Must be able to reliably commute to the Commerce Court Campus in North Bay, ON required

• Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course
• Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
