On-Call Residential Clinician

Stages Integrated Care

We are seeking On-Call Residential Clinicians to join our Stages Integrated Care team. An ideal candidate will have open availability and be able to commit one week a month to serve as the go-to employee to fill in schedule vacancies. On-call clinicians may be asked to cover shifts at other Community Reach Center residential facilities.

The Stages Integrated Care team serves patients whose mental illness has advanced to the point where they are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or who is soon to discharge from the hospital and would benefit from a short period of residential services in a community setting. The Residential Clinician provides direct mental health clinical assessment and treatment to the client and/or their families' utilizing the psychiatric rehabilitation and other evidence base practice models. They provide substance abuse/dual diagnosis services in accordance to standards, if necessary.

Work You'll Do

As a Residential Clinician, you will:

* Provide case management, group counseling, individual counseling, family counseling, and other "clinical" interventions to residents and families as appropriate to the position.
* Support clinician of records duties, including preparing treatment plans, discharge plans, follow-up care programs, and other required paperwork.
* Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
* In designated facilities, you may provide group, individual, and family substance abuse counseling as needed; complete substance abuse assessments as assigned.
* Assist consumers with medication administration as directed by Colorado regulations, facility policies and procedures, and physician's orders.
* Monitor collection of urine drug screens and breathalyzers.
* Coordinate care with consumer, families of consumers, center staff, or external facilities and agencies as appropriate to ensure continuity of care.
* Participate in the review of clinical issues, including WRAP in accordance with program policies and procedures.
* Monitor activities of daily living (personal care, food preparation, laundry, etc.) for clients and provides training as needed.
* Work with consumers in the use of basic community resources, referral, linage, and advocacy; acts a liaison when needed.


* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from a fully accredited college or university.
* Minimum of 6 to 12 months directly related experience, which may include internship and/or practicum.
* Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record while employed with Community Reach Center's Crisis Programs.
* Must have, or obtain upon hire, certification in QMAP (medication administration), First Aid/CPR and MANDT Crisis Intervention
* Communication, organization, time management, and clinical skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods and procedures, and standards.
* Familiarity with DSM 5 and diagnostic techniques.
* High degree of initiative and responsibility.
* Experience working with chronically mentally ill adults preferred
* TB and Flu Shot
