Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and reporting concerns according to site procedures;
Support daily healthcare location operations by assisting with directions, handling routine inquiries, and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel
