Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking a Self-Perform Work Superintendent
- Drywall with at least 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Oversee, manage, and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Foremen.
- Hire, inspire and grow our craft workforce.
- Objectively and respectfully deal with reductions in force.
- Lead DPR’s Injury-Free Environment (IFE) Safety Program for this scope.
- Ensure quality of work matches project, jurisdictional and DPR standards.
- Work in a collaborative environment with other trade partners and project teams to ensure optimum production.
- Lead the problem‑solving effort should safety, quality or production issues arrive within this scope.
- Professionally represent DPR Field Operations.
- Excellent listening skills and have professional communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Effective participation in team environment.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and Plan Grid.
- 10+ years hands‑on trade‑related field experience as a journeyman, foreman and/or Superintendent.
- Knowledge of and ability to recruit craft from the local workforce.
- A strong work ethic and a can‑do attitude.
