Superintendent- Drywall

Job Description

DPR Construction is seeking a Self-Perform Work Superintendent
- Drywall with at least 5+ years of commercial construction experience.

• Oversee, manage, and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Foremen.
• Hire, inspire and grow our craft workforce.
• Objectively and respectfully deal with reductions in force.
• Lead DPR’s Injury-Free Environment (IFE) Safety Program for this scope.
• Ensure quality of work matches project, jurisdictional and DPR standards.
• Work in a collaborative environment with other trade partners and project teams to ensure optimum production.
• Lead the problem‑solving effort should safety, quality or production issues arrive within this scope.
• Professionally represent DPR Field Operations.

• Excellent listening skills and have professional communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Effective participation in team environment.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and Plan Grid.
• 10+ years hands‑on trade‑related field experience as a journeyman, foreman and/or Superintendent.
• Knowledge of and ability to recruit craft from the local workforce.
• A strong work ethic and a can‑do attitude.
