Our client, one of the largest in the industry, is seeking an experienced gas engineer to join their busy team to carry out service and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
  • Ensure high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
  • Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during daily work.
  • Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Gas qualifications essential: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR
    1.
  • Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis required.
  • A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants.
  • Complete all appropriate criminal and reference checks prior to starting work.
Working Hours

5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm – 40 hrs.

4 days per week (working days to be agreed 8am to 7pm – 40 hrs) with a shift enhancement of up to £4160 per annum.

5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5.30pm – 42.5 hrs with a shift enhancement of up to £2749 per annum. 1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.
