Personal Tutor - Adult Care (East Midlands)

Location:

Remote with travel for in-person learner observations, team meetings and 1:1s around East Midlands. Salary:
Up to £31,000.00 plus performance based bonuses.

Working Hours:

36.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with flexible working options.

Responsibilities
  • Engage, motivate, and inspire learners to achieve their work-based qualifications.
  • Deliver innovative and impactful teaching and learning, tailored to the needs of each learner.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of learners across HSC Levels 2-3 with regular visits, observations, and progress reviews.
  • Offer valuable feedback to stretch learners, enhance their professional development, and support success.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with employer partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Promote and use Elevate Workshops to maximise learner success.
  • Monitor and track learner progress using the Learning Management System (BUD).
  • Collaborate with Learning Support for learners requiring Functional Skills or Additional Learning Support.
  • Provide detailed feedback following review meetings and observations with clear, actionable insights.
  • Adhere to GDPR regulations and maintain data security protocols.
What you won’t be doing
  • Delivering Functional Skills; a dedicated team handles this.
  • Generating new learners; BDM teams bring on learners.
  • Enrolling learners onto qualifications; enrollment is handled by the enrollment team.
  • Delivery Workshops; content delivered by Workshop Tutors and Elevate programme.
Qualifications and experience
  • A minimum Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
  • A Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS, etc.).
  • Level 3 or 5 qualification within the Health & Social Care sector.
  • Proven experience delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Experience managing a diverse caseload of learners.
  • Solid understanding of End-Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Access to a car and ability to travel for in-person observations, 1:1s, and team meetings.
