AWS Connect Engineer - Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading organisation delivering large-scale digital transformation within the customer experience space. This role sits within a high-performing technology team focused on modernising cloud contact centre platforms for a major financial services environment.

As an AWS Connect Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and evolving a cutting‑edge cloud contact centre, leveraging the latest capabilities across the AWS ecosystem. This is a hands‑on position where you’ll build intelligent, scalable solutions that enhance customer interactions through AI, automation, and real‑time analytics. You’ll be working on complex, high‑impact systems that directly influence customer experience at scale.

• Salary up to £85,000
• Hybrid working – 3 days per week on-site in Nottingham

• Proven hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services (certifications preferred)
• Knowledge of integrating AWS with external systems using AWS Lambda, APIs, and event‑driven architectures
• Experience working in regulated environments (financial services, fintech, or similar)
• Understanding of compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and FCA regulations
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js for serverless development
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation)
• Solid understanding of contact centre operations, reporting, and workflows
