Summer Maintenance

Seton Regional Catholic School is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to assist with summer maintenance projects across the school campus. This seasonal position supports the upkeep, cleaning, and preparation of school facilities in anticipation of the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate is responsible, motivated, and able to perform a variety of physical tasks.

• Assist with general maintenance duties such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Support groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and outdoor cleanup.
• Help move furniture, classroom materials, and equipment as classrooms are cleaned and reorganized.
• Perform deep‑cleaning tasks in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Assist maintenance staff with larger projects as needed throughout the summer.
• Follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment appropriately.
• Maintain a respectful and responsible work ethic while representing the school’s mission and values.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items of moderate weight.
• Comfortable with physical labor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and respect for the school environment.
• Seasonal summer position; schedule varies based on school needs.
• Hours typically align with daytime work, Monday–Friday.
• Compensation is hourly and based on school policy.
• Position may be ideal for high school or college students seeking summer employment.
