Utility Locating Technicians protect underground i3 Broadband fiber optic utilities from damage during projects involving digging or excavation. Utility locators pinpoint the paths of cables and conduits that carry utilities underground. Their work takes them through easements as underground utilities pass through neighborhoods and beneath the property of homeowners.
Qualifications:- Must be able to work outdoors, and in all weather conditions
- Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be computer proficient, and have a basic understanding of consumer electronics
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Must be available to work occasional overtime and some nights and weekends (as needed)
- Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality results.
- Starting hourly wage $18-$20 per hour
- 100% paid training
