Must demonstrate proficiency with a variety of technologies, a comprehensive library of multimedia resources, integration, and quality instruction. Must possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and patient.
Requirements- Professional Educator's License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement(s), including Library Information Science (LIS) endorsement
- Classroom experience preferred; at least two years
- Extensive experience with collaboration and purposeful curricular planning/technology integration with classroom (elementary buildings) and content area teachers (middle school)
- Experience providing professional development to staff, administration, and parents
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
To provide multifaceted learning experiences for all students and curricular/instructional support for all teachers utilizing multiple resources and technology focused on inquiry, inclusion, collaboration, curation, exploration, and engagement in order to foster and enhance student learning; make decisions and demonstrate support of the mission, vision, and goals of District 142.

HEALTH INSURANCE
:
Any premium increases or decreases shall be split 70 percent to the Board and 30 percent to the employee.
Employees who elect not to participate in the health insurance plan extended by the Board of Education will receive up to $1,250.00 per year.
DENTAL INSURANCE
:
Teachers may elect to participate in the District's group dental insurance plan as it may exist from time to time. Any such participation shall be only as permitted by the District's insurance carrier and in accord with the carrier's requirement. The employee will pay one hundred (100%) of the premium rate.
VISION INSURANCE
:
The employee will pay 100% of the cost of monthly premiums for vision insurance for employees.
LIFE INSURANCE
:
For full time certified teachers the Board will provide a $20,000.00 term life insurance policy pursuant to the District life insurance program.
COMPENSATION FOR ACCUMULATED SICK DAYS UPON RETIREMENT
