Part‑Time Janitorial Floater

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Part‑Time Janitorial Floater to join our team at Service Master Commercial Cleaning. The position involves working early evenings, covering extra help for various locations, and performing hard floor and carpet project work. The role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean record and reliable transportation.

• Fill in at various locations when extra help is needed or personnel are on leave.
• Train new employees in cleaning methods at various accounts.
• Provide support to the management team.
• Assist with special projects and tasks.
• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures.
• Execute sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, and dusting.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Open and lock facilities; enable and disable the security system as required.

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, and reaching (up to 100%).
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• 1‑2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Flexibility to work at a fast pace in a multi‑tasked job.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
• Be reliable, consistently in uniform, and on time.
• Treat all co‑workers and customers with courtesy and respect.
