Pay: $18/hour + 1,000 tuition waiver/scholarship
Teaching Assistants will be assigned to specific instructors in ENGL 1010, ENGL 2010, or other introductory 2000‑level courses. Responsibilities include attending every class, observing the instructor, and assisting in the classroom. Duties may involve taking attendance, distributing materials, collecting materials, answering questions, and providing formative feedback on assignments. TAs will also handle off‑classroom tasks such as responding to student emails, meeting with students, grading assignments under instructor supervision, and preparing, delivering, and reflecting upon five individual lessons during the semester.
Required Qualifications- Current enrollment in the Master of Arts in English Program
- Work‑study eligibility (FAFSA on file)
- Higher availability for class sessions
- No prior TA or GIship in the program
