Job Summary / Basic Function

Teach one or more of the following courses (each a 4-credit-hour course with an associated laboratory):

  • ECE 1400 Fundamentals of Engineering Computing
  • ECE 2260 Fundamentals of Electrical Circuits
  • ECE 2700 Digital Circuits
  • ECE 2210 Electrical Engineering for Non-Majors

Required Qualifications

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or related field plus two years of industrial engineering experience and college‑level teaching experience.

Physical Activity / Requirements

Physical activity involves extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction, operating tools, grasping, and expressing ideas. The position requires light work, occasional exertion of up to 20 pounds, frequent exertion of up to 10 pounds, and a negligible amount of force consistently. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, using a computer terminal, and extensive reading.

The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
