Responsibilities
Performs repetitive work station or line assembly operations to mass produce and assemble products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Operate shop machines including press brakes, saws, shears, and rolls to assemble sheets.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Verify material type, thickness, and sizes.
- Operate stationary and moving overhead cranes.
- Operate forklift when required.
- Operate any equipment needed to perform job.
- Listen and follow instructions.
- Complete work in a timely manner.
- Perform related duties as needed by supervision.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Education:
High School diploma or GED. - Minimum Requirements:
Six months of training/experience with saws/shears, brake press, and/or rolls operations. Advanced math skills. - Training:
As determined. - Availability:
Must maintain regular attendance, be available for overtime, and willingness to travel as needed.
Must understand implicit and explicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations. Must resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.
Essential Physical FunctionsRequires lifting, stooping, bending, and stretching to accomplish grinding, welding, and other assigned duties. Requires ability to work at different heights. Requires correctable vision within normal range to perform clean and uniform welds and read blueprints. Requires standing, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
Safety Requirements- Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to self or others.
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety and comply with all safety laws and employer policies and rules, and report safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.

Working ConditionsWorks in a typical fabrication shop environment. Occasionally called upon to work overtime. Working conditions may vary according to weather. Requires ability to work in heat and cold.
