Job Title: Director of Cost Accounting
Location: Millersburg, Ohio (On-Site)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
Salary: $115,000 – $140,000 + 25% Bonus

Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Cost Accounting to lead cost accounting and inventory-related financial functions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment and thrives in a role where they can both lead and execute.
Director of Cost Accounting Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems, including standard costing and overhead allocation
• Lead month-end close processes related to inventory, cost of goods sold, and fixed assets
• Perform and oversee detailed variance analysis across materials, labor, and overhead
• Partner closely with operations and manufacturing teams to improve cost visibility and drive efficiencies
• Analyze cost drivers and provide actionable insights to support margin improvement initiatives
Director of Cost Accounting Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or operations finance
• Prior leadership experience required
