Haz Tek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist to support our growing commercial construction projects. If you're passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.

* Oversee and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures across the job site

* Support and monitor electrical safety compliance, including coordination with trades

* Conduct daily safety audits, inspections, and field observations

* Lead safety meetings and provide guidance on proper energy isolation practices

* Review and verify LOTO plans, permits, and documentation

* Work closely with contractors and site leadership to ensure safe execution of work

* Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions as needed

Qualifications

* OSHA 30 (Construction) required

* Strong experience with LOTO programs in construction or industrial environments

* Familiarity with NFPA 70E and electrical safety standards

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with multiple trades

* Additional certifications (OSHA 510, NFPA 70E training, etc.) are a plus

* Excellent verbal and written skills
