The Shift Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants. This position is responsible for overseeing custodial staff and ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail.

The hours are Monday-Friday 3:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of custodial staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Oversee the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning procedures.
• Train new custodial staff on best practices in cleaning techniques and equipment use.

• Strong knowledge of custodial practices including commercial and industrial cleaning techniques.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness in various environments including residential settings.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and building occupants.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
