GOZAL INC is hiring a Safety Manager to oversee compliance and improve safety performance across our fleet of 60+ trucks and 150+ dry van trailers. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership, enforce standards, and keep our operation running safely and efficiently.

Schedule:
Full-time
- Oversee driver safety, compliance, and DOT regulations
- Handle driver incidents, violations, and corrective actions
- Review dashcam footage (Samsara) and coach drivers on safety performance
- Manage driver onboarding from a safety standpoint (road test, policies, compliance)
- Maintain driver qualification files and ensure FMCSA compliance
- Conduct safety meetings and ongoing driver training
- Track safety metrics and implement improvements
- Experience in trucking safety or fleet compliance
- Strong understanding of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Experience with ELD systems and log auditing
- Ability to enforce policies and communicate clearly with drivers
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Experience with Samsara or similar dashcam systems
- CDL (not required)
- Experience with fleet/dispatch systems (Alvys is a plus)
- $60,000 – $70,000/year (based on experience)
