A growing upstream operator is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to play a key role in supporting field infrastructure across active Permian Basin assets.
This position offers a blend of project delivery, operational support, and strategic infrastructure planning. The successful candidate will work closely with production, operations, construction, and leadership teams to help improve reliability, increase efficiency, and support continued development activity.
Responsibilities- Leading surface facility projects from early planning through startup
- Supporting production operations with troubleshooting and performance improvements
- Working on oil, gas, and water infrastructure across field operations
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical, cost-conscious solutions
- Supporting emissions reduction and gas capture initiatives
- Coordinating contractors, vendors, and third-party engineering groups
- Contributing to facility standards and long-term infrastructure planning
Candidates should have experience in upstream facilities engineering within an operating environment and be comfortable balancing technical work with field-based collaboration. Experience in unconventional assets, compression, production facilities, or water infrastructure is highly valued.
